On Wed. 30 March 2022, Prof. Ts. Dr. Salmiah Kasolang, UiTM Rector, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Rashidy Razali, UiTM Deputy Rector of Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, TU Rector, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayakrit Asvathitanont, Dean of the College of Innovation, together with colleagues from both UiTM and Thammasat University, have been in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Thammasat University (TU).
The collaboration would encourage activities related to promote international academic cooperation in many areas. It will create an avenue for the lecturers, staffs, and students to a wide range of opportunities including international student exchanges, joint-research, conferences, and academic publications. The MoU will remain valid for the period of 3 years.
UiTM is one of the largest public universities in Malaysia, currently offering a wide range of degree programs in the field of Science & Technology, Business & Management, and Social Sciences and Humanities with an increasing number of students of an average 1,000 students per year in the last 5 years. This ceremony is an important milestone between both universities to make this collaboration a great success.
